Introduction


This is a small species of feather star that has ten arms and is 55 - 75 mm long. Lambert and Boutillier (2011) say: "Not yet recorded for BC but reported off Oregon and California and often associated with Florometra asperrima (=Florometra serratissima), which does occur in BC." It is reported from neighbouring Alaska.
